Teen Cuisine

Hosted by ZanBria Artisan Farms and Flyte Family Farms, Teen Cuisine welcomed youth from the Wood County Boys & Girls Club for a hands-on local food experience. Heather Gayton and Carrie Flyte led engaging presentations on the value of shopping local, how to respectfully navigate farmers markets, and the sustainable practices behind their produce.

Youth participants prepared and enjoyed a meal using fresh ingredients from both farms, gaining confidence in sourcing local food and trying new vegetables. The event empowered young people to make informed, sustainable food choices while connecting them to their local agricultural community.
